Springtime on the Potomac

As Springtime comes to the Potomac we see
patches of white on the mountainside. These patches
are not Winter's snow, they are Spring's first promises.

the best part of taking a ride on the gravel roads in rural ND is seeing the beauties of
nature . This day it happened to be a cock pheasant in all his glory. As we watched
him we caught a glimpse of something else moving. He had his family with him! As
they scurried off into the tall grasses they were quickly hidden but Dad stayed behind
long enough for us to marvel at the beautiful colors he displayed as the sun shone on
him.
